Pasadena is located in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California. Because it is a small community, Pasadena is serviced by a Regional Airport. This facility makes available food and beverage, but I wouldn’t expect a wide variety because of the size of the facility. Car rental access and Commuter flights to the larger airports such as L.A. International is available
Pasadena’s Past
The area where Pasadena sits, in fact the entire San Fernando Valley, was once occupied by Native Americans. In 1771, the Spanish arrived and established the San Gabriel Mission. Orchards and vineyards were planted and flourished. Soon, Mexico took control of the land from Spain, dividing the land between many individuals. Control of this area was retained by Mexico until California became a state in 1852.
